A feature sequel to the seminal 1985 Brat Pack film "St. Elmo's Fire" is in early development, Rob Lowe confirmed in a recent interview.

Elmo’s Fire” followed seven recent college graduates navigating their new adult lives, and co-starred Demi Moore, Judd Nelson, McCarthy, Emilio Estevez and Ally Sheedy. Rob Lowe, Moore, Estevez and Sheedy all went on camera for McCarthy’s recent documentary, in which McCarthy talks to his fellow actors about the origins of the term “Brat Pack” in a New York magazine story and the effect it’s had — or hasn’t had — on their careers.
