‘Squid Game’ Season 3 Trailer: Player 456 and the Front Man Face Off One Last Time in Netflix Series’ Final Episodes

Netflix has released the official trailer for "Squid Game" Season 3, showing the aftermath of Player 456's failed rebellion in the games.

The seasons were filmed back-to-back and originally written as one long story arc. After Seong Gi-hun/Player 456’s ( Lee Jung-jae) rebellion within the games failed, leading to the death of his best friend, Jung-bae (Lee Seo-hwan), at the hands of The Front Man ( Lee Byung-hun) — who had posed as a fake player in the games — it appears the deadly childhood games are continuing with no remorse. After releasing worldwide in December, “Squid Game” Season 2 became Netflix’s most-viewed series in a single week and currently stands as the streaming platform’s third-most watched series ever, just behind “Squid Game” Season 1 and “Wednesday.” In addition to the main actors, returning cast members include Yim Si-wan, Park Sung-hoon, Jo Yu-ri, Park Gyu-young and Wi Ha-joon, since most of the main alliance survived the rebellion.
