‘Squid Game’ Season 2 Teaser Trailer Sees Seong Gi-hun Looking For Revenge
Netflix dropped a new teaser tonight for Season 2 of Squid Game. The streamer released the clip as part of Geeked Week in Atlanta.
Season 2 takes place three years after Gi-hun won Squid Game, giving up on going to the states and coming back with a new resolution in his mind. Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk previously told Deadline that the new season will see Gi-hun seeking revenge, entering the game as a different, more serious character. “On the first day we began shooting Season 2, I remember thinking, ‘Wow, I can’t believe I’m back in the world of Squid Game.’ It almost felt surreal.
