‘Somebody Feed Phil’ Renewed for Season 8 at Netflix (EXCLUSIVE)

Phil Rosenthal's "Somebody Feed Phil" has been renewed for an eighth season at Netflix.

The Emmy-nominated food travel series, which is among the streamer’s longest-running unscripted shows, debuted its seventh season March 1, featuring the “Everybody Loves Raymond” creator eating his way around Mumbai, Washington, D.C., Kyoto, Iceland, Dubai, Orlando, Taipei and Scotland. No release date has been set for the Season 8 “Somebody Feed Phil” episodes, but Netflix has announced that the show’s catchy theme tune from Lake Street Dive, aptly titled “Somebody Feed Phil,” will be available for streaming on all platforms Oct. 4. “Somebody Feed Phil” is executive produced by Emmy, James Beard Award, and Critics Choice Award-winner Rosenthal, his brother Rich Rosenthal and John Bedolis on behalf of Lucky Bastards, as well as Christopher Collins and Lydia Tenaglia on behalf of a494.
