‘Snow White,’ ‘Ne Zha 2’ Rule U.K., Ireland Box Office
Disney’s 'Snow White' took the crown at the U.K. and Ireland box office, debuting with $5 million, with Chinese juggernaut 'Ne Zha 2' in second place.
A busy Friday, March 28 sees the release of Telluride and Toronto title “The End” from Mubi, directed by Joshua Oppenheimer and starring Tilda Swinton, George MacKay and Michael Shannon. Paramount is opening wide “Novocaine,” a dark comedy from directors Dan Berk and Robert Olsen, starring Jack Quaid, Amber Midthunder, and Betty Gabriel. Jade Films adds Stephen Fry comedy “Time Travel Is Dangerous” to the lineup, and Magnetes Pictures distributes the Polish fantasy title “Kleks I Wynalazek Filipa Golarza.” Universal is bowing horror thriller “The Woman In The Yard.”
