‘SNL’: Watch Menendez Brothers Halloween Sketch Cut for Time

Saturday Night Live referenced the current cultural fascination with the Menendez brothers in a cut-for-time skit intended to air during Weekend Update. Erik and Lyle Menendez were convicted in 1996 of killing their parents, José and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menéndez, and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Murphy responded by saying, “I know he hasn’t watched the show.” He has also taken some credit for the fact that the Menendez case is currently being reevaluated, as announced by Los Angeles District Attorney Javier Gascon earlier this month.
