'SNL' Takes Subtle Swipe at Harry and Meghan's U.K. Security Case
SNL's 'Weekend Update' poked fun at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle amid their ongoing UK security court case and family tensions
“President[Donald] Trump has announced a new trade deal with the U.K. that will reopen British markets for American companies,” Colin Jost quipped during the “Weekend Update” segment on the Saturday, May 10, episode. “I can’t see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point,” Harry, who previously served in the U.K. military for 10 years, told the BBC in a sit-down after the court verdict. This ain’t Texas or Buckingham Palace, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did make a surprise appearance at Beyoncé’s latest Cowboy Carter Tour stop.
