These numbers, particularly among younger viewers, were presumably helped by hosts such as Pete Davidson, Bad Bunny, Timothee Chalamet, Jacob Elordi, Ayo Edebiri, Sydney Sweeney and Dua Lipa. The show’s top-rated telecast of the season in total viewers was the Ryan Gosling/Chris Stapleton episode on April 13 with 8.9 million. NBC said that social video views were up 36% from last season with clips such as the viral Beavis and Butt-Head skit getting 15.8M on YouTube.
