‘SNL’ Cold Open: Kamala Harris Watches Tim Walz Vibe With ‘No Fact Checking’ J.D. Vance

Saturday Night Live ‘s Kamala Harris ( Maya Rudolph) and Doug Emhoff ( Andy Samberg) tuned in to the vice presidential debate to hear JD Vance implore moderators not to fact-check him. After commending Vance–one of several instances–the pair said simultaneously and dramatically that they “have a lot of common ground.” They then held their palms up against each other’s in the split-screen–something that caused Harris to spit out her wine in frustration. Holding an ice cream cone, Biden at one point flung his arms wide while telling Harris that she would make a great president–only to smear the food right on her chin.
