‘SNL50’: Marcello Hernández’s Domingo Meets Pedro Pascal and Bad Bunny, Duets With Sabrina Carpenter on Taylor Swift Song
Sabrina Carpenter appeared on the 'SNL' 50th anniversary special in a 'Domingo' sketch
At a concert late last year, Sabrina Carpenter played at “arresting” Marcello Hernández’s “Saturday Night Live” character Domingo. In a blowout “vow renewal” sketch featuring Molly Shannon and Martin Short as the parents of bride Kelsey (Chloe Fineman), Sabrina Carpenter led the bridal party in paying musical tribute to her friend, with the song — just as in previous sketches — giving way to an unpacking of the affair Kelsey had been carrying on with Domingo. But the sketch didn’t end there: A groomsmen’s party comprised of Bowen Yang, Andy Samberg, Kyle Mooney, Jason Sudeikis performed a rendition of Carpenter’s own song “Espresso” — the same song from the first “Domingo” sketch” — to pay tribute to groom Matt’s (Andrew Dismukes) own old flame Ronaldo (Pedro Pascal).
