‘Smoke Sauna Sisterhood’ Director Anna Hints Readies for ‘Black Hairy Beast,’ Reunites with Tushar Prakash and Production Company Stellar Film
It will mark their fourth collaboration with Hints following shorts “For Tomorrow Paradise Arrives,” “The Weight of Light” and “Sauna Day,” co-directed with Tushar Prakash and the first Estonian film ever to premiere at Cannes’ Critics’ Week. One of the leading production companies in Estonia, Stellar Film is also behind Jaak Kilmi’s “The Sleeping Beast,” Miia Tervo’s “The Missile” and Zaida Bergroth’s “Maria’s Paradise.” ‘Black Hairy Beast’ carries a similar tenderness and care for its characters as their previous works but reveals a whole new side of Anna and Tushar’s artistic expression.
