‘Slow Horses’ Lands First-Ever Emmy Nominations; Gary Oldman & Jack Lowden Up For Acting Awards
Apple TV+ series 'Slow Horses' has landed nine Emmy nominations, including acting nods for Gary Oldman, Jack Lowden and Jonathan Pryce.
The Apple TV+ series will be up against The Crown, Fallout, The Gilded Age, The Morning Show, Mr & Mrs Smith, Shōgun and 3 Body Problem in the Best Drama category. In Slow Horses, the Oscar winning-Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the head of an MI5 unit comprises of misfits and rejects. The series is based on Mick Herron’s ‘Slough House’ novels, stars the likes of Oldman, Lowden, Olivia Cook and Kristin Scott Thomas.
