‘Sing Sing’ Cast Reuniting to Perform the Play From the Movie Live in New York City (EXCLUSIVE)


The formerly incarcerated actors from 'Sing Sing' will reunite in New York to perform the play that inspired the movie, 'Breakin' the Mummy's Code.'

The event will be hosted by “Succession” star J. Smith-Cameron and will include a post-performance Q&A with the cast and director of the original theater production, Brent Buell (played by Paul Raci in the film). The revival of “Breakin’ the Mummy’s Code” will feature original cast members and special guest performers, including Clarence Maclin, Sean “Dino” Johnson, Jon-Adrian “JJ” Velazquez, John “Divine G” Whitfield, Dario Peña, James “Big E” Williams, David “Dap” Giraudy, Miguel Valentin, Cornell “Nate” Alston, Camillo “Carmine” Lovacco, Mosi Eagle, Pedro Cotto, Patrick “Preme” Griffin and Cecily Lyn. The event is presented by A24 in collaboration with The Just Trust and Rehabilitation Through the Arts (RTA), with the support of New York Theatre Workshop.
