Season 2 of Graham Yost ‘s dystopian sci-fi drama that’s based on Hugh Howey ‘s novels kicks off with a flashback to life in another silo, where residents thought they had achieved freedom by escaping the confines of their underground refuge. Flash forward to today, where Juliette — whom we last saw wandering the barren landscape in a tidy white space suit — gains access to a supposedly abandoned silo. Save a few look-backs to help establish how young Juliette first honed her fix-it skills, the episode is a slow drip that follows the show’s heroine as she tries to access a lit area that appears to be occupied.
