Netflix has unveiled the complete cast and teaser for 'Bullet Train Explosion,' the upcoming thriller from 'Shin Godzilla' co-director Shinji Higuchi.
60 alongside Kusanagi are Kanata Hosoda as conductor Fujii, Non as driver Matsumoto, Machiko Ono as House of Representatives member Kagami, Jun Kaname as entrepreneurial YouTuber Todoroki, and Hana Toyoshima as student Yuzuki Onodera. The bomber demands JPY100 billion ($660 million) as ransom to disarm the explosive device, triggering a desperate race against time for crew, passengers, and railway personnel. The film joins Netflix’s expanding slate of Japanese live-action content this year, which includes “Last Samurai Standing,” the third season of “Alice in Borderland,” and manga adaptation “10Dance.”
