British writer James Graham will deliver this year's flagship James MacTaggart Memorial Lecture at the Edinburgh TV Festival.

Graham, known for his sharp political insights and popular dramas, has made significant contributions to stage, television and film. He will emphasize the importance of diverse representation in media, particularly working-class voices, and explore the future of public service broadcasting in a changing cultural landscape. He is also known for his pioneering restoration efforts with his foundation’s “Thamp,” “Ishanou” and “Manthan” all selected for Cannes Classics and “Maya Miriga” at the upcoming Il Cinema Ritrovato Film Festival in Bologna.
