‘Sherri’ Producer Launches Investigation Following Death Of Show Executive
'Sherri' producer Debmar-Mercury has launched an investigation amid the death of a top executive who was found dead of an apparent suicide.
Sherri Shepherd’s daytime talk show paid tribute to one of its top executives following his death earlier this month. The show ran an In Memoriam tribute card for Matt Uzzle, the executive-in-charge of the syndicated talker, during the February 15 episode. At the time of his death, there were reports of a financial investigation at the show, and, according to Page Six, Uzzle was a target of the probe.
