This has led many to wonder if, given the film’s director Destin Daniel Cretton has just signed on to direct Spider-Man 4, Simu Liu may be out of a job when it comes to being a superhero. Given Simu Liu has repeatedly confirmed that another Shang-Chi film is happening at Marvel Studios, many fans are hesitant to believe that this photo is for a direct follow-up. With almost no leaks and absolutely zero casting information about a potential sequel, it wouldn’t make sense that the star is already prepping to return to the role for his own solo project.
