‘Shōgun’ Helmer Jonathan Van Tulleken To Direct & Exec Produce Apple Limited Series ‘Lucky’
Shōgun helmer Jonathan Van Tulleken has signed on to direct and executive produce Lucky, Apple TV+s upcoming limited drama series.
In Lucky, Taylor-Joy stars as a young woman who left behind the life of crime she was raised in years ago, but must now embrace her darker, criminal side one final time in a desperate attempt to escape her past. Van Tulleken will direct several episodes, including the pilot, and serve as executive producer. Van Tulleken also is directing episodes of Apple’s upcoming crime drama Dope Thief and Prime Video’s Bladerunner 2099.
