‘Sgt. Rock’: Luca Guadagnino Movie Dead At DC Studios

DC Studios is no longer moving forward with Sgt. Rock, the planned comic book adaptation from director Luca Guadagnino and writer Justin Kuritzkes.

TheWrap reports the film has been scrapped at Warner Bros., despite having Oscar nominee Colin Farrell in talks to lead after Daniel Craig’s departure. The exact reason for the project’s cancellation remains unclear, though sources told TheWrap that it was not due to budgetary concerns. Raised on a hearty dose of Marvel and DC comics, Rick combines his love for superheroes with a knack for writing about Hollywood's brightest.
