‘Selma’ 10th Anniversary Screening With Ava DuVernay, ‘Armageddon’ With Live Performance by Diane Warren Lead Academy Museum’s Winter Program
The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures has announced its winter programming, including a 'Selma' screening with Ava DuVernay.
The schedule also includes a 10th-anniversary screening of “ Selma,” with special appearances by director Ava DuVernay, lead actor David Oyelowo and other key cast members. The museum introduces a new screening series, Cyberpunk: Envisioning Possible Futures Through Cinema, accompanying the recent exhibition of the same name. The winter season will feature numerous special guests, including Melody Barnett, Mark Bridges, David Cronenberg, Joe Dante, DuVernay, Harry Dodge, Kenny Gravillis, Mimi Haddon, Kathleen Hanna, Steak House, Silas Howard, Shirley Kurata, Joi McMillon, Oyelowo, Peter Sohn, Nia Vardalos, Warren, and Marlon West.
