'Security beefed-up around EastEnders cast' at National Television Awards amid fears for safety


EastEnders cast members were reportedly given extra security at the National Television Awards on Wednesday amid concerns for their safety

Extra precautions were taken for EastEnders celebs such as Jessie Wallace, Adam Woodyatt, and Jacqueline Jossa at the star-studded London event on Wednesday, September 11 following a suspected stalker's intentions to confront their favourite actors. Despite leading "fairly normal lives" away from the cameras, it was agreed that no chances should be taken with the EastEnders actors at the awards ceremony. "They get the Tube and train to work, do their own supermarket shops and can mostly go about their business with just the odd fan encounter or selfie request.
