‘Scrubs’ is being rebooted by original creator Bill Lawrence

It’s been reported today (December 6) that 'Scrubs' is being rebooted by the show's original creator, Bill Lawrence.

He highlighted in a recent interview that the COVID-19 pandemic shone a light on the importance of people in the medical profession, meaning the hospital sitcom could have a fresh new relevance in the 2020s. Braff said that he and his costars – Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, Judy Reyes and Christa Miller – were “kind of fried” by season nine. However, while stressing that concluding the series in 2010 was the right decision, Braff said that he’d definitely be open to revisiting Sacred Heart Hospital at some point in the future.
