‘Scott Pilgrim Takes Off’ Won’t Return For Season 2 On Netflix, EP Confirms


One year after Scott Pilgrim Takes Off debuted on Netflix, executive producer Bryan Lee O’Malley revealed to fans that the anime series is dead.

O’Malley and fellow series co-developer/executive producer BenDavid Grabinski have been preparing fans for the outcome since the eight-episode first season of Scott Pilgrim Takes Off was released last November. Scott Pilgrim Takes Off ‘s voice cast featured the actors from the live-action film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World reprising their roles, including Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Alison Pill, Brandon Routh, Anna Kendrick and Jason Schwartzman.
