‘Santosh’ to Represent U.K. in Oscars International Feature Race
The U.K., the current holders of the best international feature film Oscar, will be represented by Sandhya Suri's 'Santosh' at the next awards
The British Academy has selected Sandhya Suri’s acclaimed crime thriller “ Santosh ” as the U.K.’s submission to the Oscars ‘ international feature film category. Written and directed by Suri, “Santosh” stars Shahana Goswami in the lead role, alongside Sunita Rajwar. In Variety ‘s review, “Santosh” was described as “whip smart” and a film that was committed “to capturing the ugly allure of power through the perspective of those who wield it.”
