Lux Vide revives "Sandokan" with Can Yaman, blending CGI and real sets for a modern take on the classic pirate tale.

Following her training at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), Bloor won the part in December and had three months to prepare, arriving in Italy for filming in April: “It was a blessing that I came in at the end. For the first time in Europe, we built a 300-meter panopticon with OLED walls, employed the most sophisticated CGI technologies on the market, and, in Calabria, reconstructed an entire 19th-century consulate along with a tropical harbor full of ships.
