The first trailer has been unveiled for Lady Camden documentary 'Lady Like,' which will close the BFI Flare London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival.
“Lady Like” is the first feature film by Willis, whose previous credits include shorts “Pool Boy” and “The Summer House,” both selected at BFI Flare editions. Like Rex, I had a rough upbringing as a gay boy growing up in the Deep South who had to deal with the trauma of substance abuse, domestic violence and mental illness in my family. “The past three years of making art that celebrates crazy fun campy queer joy with Lady Camden has been some of the funnest stuff I‘ve made as a filmmaker.
