‘Royal Pains’ Reboot Starring Mark Feuerstein In Works At NBC
Mark Feuerstein will return as Dr. Henry "Hank" Lawson in Royal Pains reboot from NBC.
Royal Pains ran for eight seasons from 2009 to 2016 during USA Network’s popular “Blue Sky” era, which also saw the release of shows like Psych, Suits, Burn Notice, Covert Affairs, Monk, and White Collar. A reboot of the series White Collar, which helped launch Matt Bomer’s acting career, from OG creator Jeff Eastin, has been on the marketplace since February. Initially, sibling Hulu was considered the logical home for the follow-up, as it also carries the White Collar library; however, the Disney streamer opted not to proceed with the reboot.
