‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ Gets 4K Remaster and New Logo for 50th Anniversary (EXCLUSIVE)

'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' 50th anniversary includes a 4K remastered Blu-ray and a new logo.

The musical cult classic’s half-century milestone will be celebrated with a new 4K Ultra remaster that will be released in theaters and on Blu-ray later this year. Released in 1975, the movie stars Barry Bostwick and Susan Sarandon as a newly engaged couple who seek help at the castle of gender-bending Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry) when their car breaks down. “It’s a privilege to help preserve the legacy of a film that has meant so much to so many,” Restoration & Library Management director Kevin Schaeffer said in a statement Wednesday.
