‘Ripley’ Trailer: Andrew Scott Plays Grifter Tom Ripley In Netflix Limited Series
Andrew Scott plays grifter Tom Ripley in the new Netflix limited series Ripley, which is set to premiere on April 4.
Based on Patricia Highsmith’s bestselling Tom Ripley novels, Scott portrays the titular character, a grifter scraping by in early 1960s New York. The eight-episode limited series directed and written by Steven Zaillian was originally set as Showtime but moved to Netflix ahead of the addition of the premium cable network to Paramount+. Executive producers are Steven Zaillian, Garrett Basch, Clayton Townsend, Guymon Casady (Entertainment 360), Benjamin Forkner, Philipp Keel (Diogenes) and Sharon Levy and Charlie Corwin (Endemol Shine).
