‘Real Time’: Bill Maher Says Lebanon Is “Working Too Hard” With ‘Snow White’ Ban: “No One’s Going To See That”
As 'Snow White' continues to face controversy and underwhelming box office numbers, Bill Maher is poking fun at the movie's latest misfortune.
“Now that Lebanon has announced it’s banning Snow White because it stars Gal Gadot, who was a sergeant in the Israeli Defense Force (IDF), someone has to tell them, ‘You’re working too hard,'” he said during his ‘New Rules’ segment. Maher added, “And you’re not gonna settle 4,000 years of acrimony by crossing Gal Gadot. Ahmad Hajjar, Lebanon’s Interior Minister, previously recommended the ban of Snow White over Gadot’s service with and support for the IDF.
