‘Prison Break’ Races To No. 1 On Nielsen Streaming List As Fox Series Finds New Life On Netflix; ‘Umbrella Academy’ Comes In Second
Umbrella Academy came in second place with the premiere of Season 4, down over the previous season's debut week
It’s a strong performance for the Netflix series, good enough for second place, just behind Prison Break, which is the latest licensed title to find a second life on the streamer. For Umbrella Academy, it’s still a bit of a deflation compared to Season 3, which secured more than 2B minutes viewed during its debut week in 2022 despite a more competitive streaming environment, premiering on the heels of the first half of Stranger Things 4. Most notably, Prison Break soared to first place, up 111% from the week prior, when it landed on Netflix after seven years off air.
