‘Presumed Innocent’: Apple Moves Up Premiere Date For Jake Gyllenhaal-Led Series


Apple TV+ has moved up the premiere date for Presumed Innocent, its upcoming limited series, starring and executive produced by Jake Gyllenhaal.

The series, inspired by Scott Turow’s courtroom thriller, from David E. Kelley, J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot and Warner Bros. TV, will premiere Wednesday, June 12, , just a few days following its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 9. As reimagined by Kelley, who is an attorney by trade, Presumed Innocent the TV series will be exploring obsession, sex, politics, and the power and limits of love, as the accused fights to hold his family and marriage together. Abrams and Rachel Rusch Rich executive produce for Bad Robot.
