‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’ to End With Season 5, Shameik Moore Joins Cast
"Power Book III: Raising Kanan" will end with its upcoming fifth season, Variety has learned.
In the season finale, Snaps (Wendell Pierce) and Pop (Erika Woods) introduce Kanan (MeKai Curtis) to their nephew, Breeze, “It was always my intention that ‘Raising Kanan’ would run for five seasons, and thanks to my friends and partners at Starz and Lionsgate, as well as the incredible cast, crew and writing staff, I’ve been able to tell the entirety of the story I set out to tell way back in 2019,” said series showrunner Sascha Penn. Along with Curtis, Pierce, and Woods, the cast for Season 4 includes Joey Bada$$, London Brown, Malcolm Mays, Hailey Kilgore and Tony Danza.
