‘Poppy Playtime’ Video Game Adaptation In Works At Legendary
A 'Poppy Playtime' movie based on the hit video game is in the works at Legendary, Deadline can confirm.
'Poppy Playtime'Courtesy In a highly competitive situation, Legendary has closed a deal with Mob Entertainment to develop and produce a live-action film based on its hit horror video game franchise Poppy Playtime, Deadline can confirm. Poppy Playtime will mark Legendary’s third project with producers Murphy and Montford on the heels of a remake of 1978 cult horror Faces of Death, which has already shot, and a Buck Rogers movie still in development. Other past credits for Team Angry Filmworks include Natural Born Killers, Real Steel, Shoot ‘Em Up, and all eight Transformers films, to name just a few.
