Pod Save America co-host and former Obama speechwriter Jon Lovett will take a break from podcasting in order to brave the outdoors and forge alliances on the next season of Survivor. While Survivor didn’t release the names of next season’s contestants, Lovett’s Pod Save America cohort Jon Favreau acknowledged his co-host’s presence on social media: This isn’t the first time Survivor has welcomed a crossover contestant: Back in 2018, before The White Lotus, that series’ writer-director Mike White — already a veteran of two seasons of The Amazing Race —competed on Survivor: David and Goliath, and ultimately finished in second place.
