‘Phantom’ Spin-Off ‘Masquerade’ Sells Out Six Weeks Of Previews In Three Hours; Additional Dates To Be Announced
Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Phantom of the Opera' spin-off will add additional dates after sell-out.
Last week, producers announced that a six-week preview period would kick off on July 31 at the immersive show’s Midtown Manhattan home – a multi-floor space at 218 W. 57th St. The show’s large cast will include two former Broadway Phantoms, Hugh Panaro and Jeremy Stolle, and at least one former Christine, Kaley Ann Voorhees. The show synopsis reads: “ Masquerade blurs the lines of reality, bringing audiences inside and closer than ever before to the strange affair of The Phantom of the Opera – a mystery never fully explained.
