‘Peaky Blinders’ World Will Continue After Netflix Film, Creator Steven Knight Says
'Peaky Blinders' creator Steven Knight has said that his hit creation's world will continue beyond the upcoming Netflix film.
When pressed on whether another film or series could follow, he remained tight-lipped but teased: “I’m not allowed to announce it, but I’m just saying that the world of ‘Peaky’ will continue.” In the continuation of the multi-award-winning gangster saga, set in the lawless streets of Birmingham in the 1900s, Cillian Murphy reprises his role as Tommy Shelby in the film written by Knight, who produces alongside Patrick Holland, Murphy and Guy Heeley. His new drama, “A Thousand Blows” is set to premiere this Friday on Disney+ in the U.K. and on Hulu in the U.S., adding to a packed slate for the prolific creator.
