‘Peacemaker’: James Gunn Teases ‘Magical’ Season 2 Set In The DC Universe

Peacemaker is going a whole new direction in season 2! James Gunn hypes up the series as it gears up for a grand return in the new DC Universe.

This is series will somehow be persisting across the reboot put in place for the franchise by James Gunn and Peter Safran following their graduation to co-chairs of DC Studios. When speaking on the DC Universe projects currently on his plate to The Hollywood Reporter, James Gunn did confirm that he’s taking a new approach to the series heading into season 2. Given the magical connotations of James Gunn’s statement, it’s entirely possible that some sort of wizardry is in store for Christopher Smith and the gang to make the jump without having to do a complete reboot of the series.
