‘Peacemaker’: James Gunn Reveals Which Parts Of Season 1 Are Canon To The DC Universe

Is Peacemaker already breaking the rules of the new DC Universe? James Gunn clarifies his approach to canon when it comes to the upcoming reboot.

When speaking about the DC Universe’s canon in a recent interviewer, Gunn revealed that the events of season 1 will be directly addressed in future projects. “In Creature Commandos, you’ll hear them talk about things that happened in[The] Suicide Squad or Peacemaker,” Gunn told IGN in a recent chat. However, given casual viewers physically saw the Justice League in the finale, there remains a worry of how James Gunn will address their appearance heading into season 2.
