‘Past Lives’ Breakout Teo Yoo To Topline Lionsgate Action Thriller ‘Karoshi’ From Filmmaker Takashi Doscher; Chad Stahelski’s 87Eleven Producing
Lionsgate’s 'Karoshi' has set Teo Yeo has its lead, with Takashi Doscher to direct the action thriller from his own script.
87Eleven Entertainment ‘s Chad Stahelski, Alex Young, and Jason Spitz will produce as one of the first projects through their first-look production deal with Lionsgate. Other past credits for the rising star include the Palme d’Or-nominated Russian film Leto, Park Chan-Wook’s acclaimed mystery Decision to Leave, and Netflix Korea’s original romantic comedy series Love to Hate You. Most recently, Doscher wrote and directed Only, a grounded sci-fi pic starring Freida Pinto and Leslie Odom Jr., which premiered at the Tribeca Festival.
