Prince Harry’s immediate decision to fly back to the UK following the announcement of King Charles’ cancer diagnosis prompted fears that the situation was far worse than it seemed. The news of the King's cancer diagnosis was confirmed by Buckingham Palace at 6pm on Monday, 5 February in a statement which explained he had already begun "a schedule of regular treatments".
