‘Palm Royale’ Star Ricky Martin Gives Mexico “A Lot Of Credit” For Acting Preparation
Ricky Martin is the star of Apple TV+'s Palm Royale and has come a long way in the acting field, not forgetting his beginnings in Mexico.
After leaving the boyband Menudo, Martin got an opportunity to star in the musical comedy Mamá Ama el Rock in Mexico City. In Palm Royale, Martin plays Robert Diaz, a bartender at the country club the show takes place at and Carol Burnett’s Norma’s caretaker. Kristen Wiig stars in the Apple TV+ series as Maxine Simmons a woman who endeavors to break into the Palm Beach high society during the powder keg year of 1969.
