‘Outlander,’ ‘Saw,’ ‘Reservoir Dogs’ in the Mix as MGM+ Strikes U.K. Content Deal for Lionsgate and Starz Titles
Amazon has struck a deal that will see premium Lionsgate and Starz programming made available to to MGM+ customers in the U.K.
Lionsgate+ subscribers who joined via Prime Video Channels in the U.K. will now get access to the MGM service beginning in April. MGM+ in the U.K. will host several popular Starz series, including the complete “ Outlander ” franchise, “Power Book” seasons 1-4, “BMF,” “The Serpent Queen,” “P-Valley” and “Hightown.” The service will become the home to hit series, including library titles “The Great,” “Mad Men,” “Nashville” and “Weeds” and films “American Psycho,” “Reservoir Dogs” and the “Saw” franchise. Josh McIvor, global general manager, MGM+, said: “The expansion of MGM+ in the United Kingdom further cements Amazon’s commitment to invest in and grow the MGM+ channel internationally, while enhancing the content offering available to subscribers.”
