Damon is also a producer – his and Ben Affleck’s Artists Equity financed the film that’s based on Claire Keegan’s acclaimed novel and was adapted for the screen by Enda Walsh. DAMON: Yeah, I think that’s the biggest thing is that there’s none of the kind of subterfuge that normally exists with a studio where you’re trojan-horsing in one idea and you’re selling it as another — which happens a lot in our business.
