‘Oppenheimer’ Director Christopher Nolan Takes Home Directing Prize And Thanks Academy For Cementing His Legacy
Christopher Nolan wins best director at 2024 Oscars
The historic night was capped off by her being presented the award by Steven Spielberg, who many people compare Nolan too. Nolan won the award beating out Martin Scorsese for The Killers of the Flower Moon, Jonathan Glaser for Zone of Interes t, Yorgos Lanthimos for Poor Things and Justine Triet for Anatomy of a Fall. The newly minted Oscar winner has been the front-runner taking home a number of critic circles awards and other accolades including the Golden Globe and DGA trophies for best director.
