‘One Mile’: C. Thomas Howell & Sara Canning Join Cast Of Republic Pictures’ Films
C. Thomas Howell and Sara Canning have been cast opposite Ryan Phillippe and Amélie Hoeferle in the feature One Mile and its sequel, One More Mile.
In One Mile and its sequel — written by John Hlavin based with rewrites by TJ Brady and Rasheed Newson — when an estranged father, Danny (Phillippe), and daughter, Alex (Hoeferle), go off for college tours, they get more than they bargained for when they get lost and stumble across a hostile, off-the-grid community. Janine asks Danny to escort their daughter on a tour of several colleges in an attempt to repair their strained relationship. Aaron Kaplan and Michael Lohmann produce for Kapital; Chad Oakes and Mike Frislev for Nomadic Pictures, which handles physical production in Vancouver.
