The show, which comes from Big Fish Entertainment’s crime and investigation label Half Moon Pictures, launched in July 2022. It comes six months after the legal battle between Reelz, Big Fish Entertainment and A&E over the show looked to be heading to court. Dan Abrams added, “There would be no OPL without #OPNation – more than just a dedicated audience interested in the work of law enforcement, these engaged viewers often reach out to help with the show’s ‘Missing’ and ‘BOLO’ segments and they make real contributions in aiding communities and families.
