‘Nyaight Of The Living Cat’ Unveils Takashi Miike As Executive Director; Produced By Studio Behind ‘Pokemon’
'Nyaight of the Living Cat' adaptation will be led by executive director Takashi Miike and produced by OLM, the studio behind 'Pokémon.'
Adapted from the original manga written by Hawkman and illustrated by Mecha-Roots, the Nyaight of the Living Cat anime is set to premiere in 2025 on Crunchyroll. Nyaight of the Living Cat will be directed by Tomohiro Kamitani ( Beyond the Sky) and written by Shingo Irie ( Afterlost: Where I End and You Begin), with character designs by Takao Maki ( Basilisk: The Ouka Ninja Scrolls). On the music front, Marty Friedman (formerly of Megadeth) will also feature on guitar, while Heidi Shepherd (Butcher Babies) will contribute as a vocalist.
