‘Nova’ Series & More Disney Plus Projects ‘Paused’ By Marvel Studios

Is the Nova series officially dead? A new report reveals that Marvel Studios has put a number of upcoming Disney Plus projects for the MCU on hold.

A project based around Nova has been one of the most-requested things in the history of the MCU, which is why so many fans were excited when it was announced that the character would be getting his own series on Disney Plus late last year. The project was reportedly heavily inspired by classic sci-fi ensemble shows, including franchises like Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica. The show was set to focus on Richard Rider, bringing one of the longest awaited heroes from Marvel’s cosmic side into the MCU.
